Airports of Varna and Burgas prioritize health and safety – awarded health accreditation
Bulgarian airports of Varna and Burgas became the first in the country to be awarded health accreditation by the International Airport Council, according to the press office of the operator Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD.
Airport health accreditation certificates confirm staff’s efforts towards the implementation of anti-epidemic measures in order to ensure a Covid-19-safe environment and a trouble-free stay at both airports. All aspects of the health and safety measures implemented at Black Sea airports were examined and evaluated, according to the detailed information presented in the report, specified the airport operator's press office.
The two airports clearly demonstrated effective implementation of industry’s best practices in different spheres, including cleaning and disinfection, health control, physical distancing, protection of staff and passengers, reconfiguration of airport spaces, communications and awareness.
