BCCI submitted the results under the project “ADB Multiplatform” at a press-conference in Brussels

On 13th November 2013 a press-conference was released regarding the project “ADB Multiplatform“, financed under the Southeast Europe Transnational Cooperation Programme through the European Regional Development Fund and the Instruments for Pre-Accession Assistance.
Representatives of the EU Parliament, Mobility and transport General Directorate with the European Commission and partners to the project attended the press-conference. During the event an emphasis was put on the role of the project “ADB Multiplatform” for the creation of better links between ports and logistic centres in order to provide an efficient cargo transport within the new Trans-European transport network (TEN-T).
The press-conference described the results achieved so far under the project as well as the activities of implementation planned to the end of 2014. The expected results under the work projects were also discussed, including Work Package 4, activity 4.5 on which the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is leading and conducts research over the existing sources of information for the management of the intermodal transport in Southeast Europe.
In relation to the implementation of the activities under the project BCCI shall organize on 18th November 2013 a national meeting entitled “Discussion on the strategy for creating a multimodal transportation centre in Bulgaria”.
