Working meeting with the management of the Bulgarian – Montenegrin Chamber of Commerce and Industry



The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov had a working meeting with the management of the Bulgarian – Montenegrin Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Nadezhda Vaneva, CEO and Julian Eftimov, Member of the Managing Board.

The goal of the meeting was to exchange ideas for creation and encouraging new opportunities for business with Montenegro since the country is looking towards EU membership.

The guests provided information about some events and initiatives that took place at the end of 2019 – Days of Bulgaria in Montenegro as well as a session of the intragovernmental commission. The Chamber of Economy Montenegro and the Embassy of Bulgaria in Podgorica played active part in the preparation and realization of the initiatives.

Simeonov mentioned that the cooperation between the Chambers of the two countries has already its traditions on bilateral basis and in regard to Eurochambres, where the two Chambers are members. According to him there are many other areas for joint cooperation as: business services, EU projects and EU integration process.

Nadezhda Vaneva explained in details the plans of the Joint Chamber to have Bays of Montenegro in Bulgaria by the end of 2020, including an exhibition, b2b event and cultural experience.

Simeonov underlined the readiness of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to provide the necessary assistance for the realization of the initiatives.
