H.E. Mme Vanessa Calvert, Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to Bulgaria visited BCCI and met with President Tsvetan Simeonov.
During the meeting the commercial and economic relations between Bulgaria and South Africa were discussed together with opportunities for utilizing the unused potential. Ambassador Calvert defined the sectors of mutual interest: agriculture, energy, pharmacy, shipbuilding, fishing industry. She said that Bulgaria has well-established traditions, expertise and training centers in agriculture which increases the sector’s attractiveness to foreign investors.
Specific possibilities for promotion of the bilateral relations were discussed – exchanging visits and organizing joint business events.
