BCCI again will host international commercial arbitration moot

At BCCI the organization of the upcoming edition of Sofia Vis Pre-Мoot, international commercial arbitration moot for students, was discussed. For a second year in a row, BCCI and the International Moot Court Competitions Association (IMCCA) will prepare the pre-moot in Bulgaria, which will determine the Bulgarian participants in the second stage – the biggest international private law competition in the world Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot , which has been held annually in Vienna, Austria for the last 23 years.
In 2015, more than 67 countries took part in the moot with 300 teams, including 3 Bulgarian teams of which the team of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” received a special prize.
The second edition of Sofia Vis Pre-Мoot will take place between 19th and 21st February 2016 at BCCI. The event will include the oral hearings of the participating teams as well as a seminar on arbitration which will be conducted by eminent speakers in the field of international arbitration.
