30 years of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Korea

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Bulgaria, with the kind support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria hosted the launching event of the celebratory logo on the occasion of the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Bulgaria. Almost 200 applications were received during the open call for submission of applications.

1^st prize was awarded to Mr. Ivaylo Todorov, student in the National Academy of Art in Sofia.

2^nd prizes were awarded to:

• Mrs. Diana Shingarova, web designer, EVA magazine
• Mr. Georgi Pavlov- student in the National Academy of Art in Sofia
• Mrs. Kosara Tomova
• Mr. Chu Han-gyol, Korean student residing in Albania.

First and second prizes were given by H.E. Georg Georgiev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria and by Ambassador of the Republic of Korea H.E. Jeong Junkyu.

Among the guests at the award ceremony were the BCCI President Mr.Tsvetan Simeonov, members of the Bulgaria-Korea Parliamentary Friendship Group, representatives of state institutions and public organizations.

The celebratory logo will be used as an official symbol of all bilateral diplomatic events in 2020, which marks the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Bulgaria.
