At the Women Economic Forum (WEF 2017) which was held between 8 and 13 May in New Delhi, India, a representative of Bulgaria participated – Eng. Radka Stamenova, member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Council of BCCI and President of the Bulgarian Association of Women Entrepreneurs.
At the forum, Mrs. Stamenova gave a presentation on the activity of women entrepreneurs in Bulgaria, their growing role in all spheres of life, and the support they receive from BCCI.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria in India H.E. Petko Doynov acquainted the participants with the economy, culture and tourism in Bulgaria, emphasizing the opportunities for cooperation.
Mrs. Radka Stamenova was among the ones awarded with the “Iconic women leaders creating a better world for all” award. It is presented for valuable contribution and inspiring activity aimed at global positive change.
During the Forum Mrs. Radka Stamenova and Dr. Harbeen Arora, Global Chairperson of All Ladies League – the organizer of the event, discussed the possibility to hold the next Women Economic Forum in Bulgaria in 2018, during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
