As of September this year, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has started the implementation of the “AGROINNOECO” project under the Balkan-Mediterranean Transnational Cooperation Programme. The project is implemented in cooperation between 6 organizations from Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus and Albania. The project is aimed at supporting innovative entrepreneurship in the agroindustry sector and expanding cooperation between SMEs in the Balkan-Mediterranean region. To achieve the objectives of the project, BCCI will be involved in the development and implementation of the following activities:

- selection of 20 participants from Bulgaria with innovative ideas in the agroindustry sector to participate in the planned training seminars and consultations, elaborate business plans, take part in a meeting in Greece for the exchange of good practices and ideas, and get acquainted with possible funding sources for their ideas;
- elaboration of a plan for the establishment of a territorial “AGROINNOECO” Cluster in Bulgaria and networking with clusters from the Balkan-Mediterranean region.
