The Ambassador of India H.E. Ms. Pooja Kapur visited BCCI


H.E. Ms. Pooja Kapur, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Bulgaria, visited BCCI and met with the Chamber’s President Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov. Subhash Nair, Second Secretary of the Embassy and Head of Chancery also took part in the meeting.

Tsvetan Simeonov introduced his guests to the current economic situation in the country and the activities of BCCI in support of business. During the meeting, H.E. Kapur and President Simeonov concluded that intensified actions from both countries are required to increase bilateral trade between Bulgaria and India. Also, an improvement of the application procedures is needed for the issuance of visas to entrepreneurs from India willing to invest in various sectors of Bulgarian economy such as: agriculture, IT, pharmacy, machine-building, etc. The parties agreed to continue the good cooperation between BCCI and the Embassy of India in the future.
