As part of our efforts to transform the country into a better place for business, our economic policy is to prioritize the development of the sectors where we have advantages and those that provide high added value and competitiveness of the economy. According to Deputy Minister Krasin Dimitrov for the period January-September 2013 the foreign investments in Bulgaria are over 1 billion euros. Compared to last year, the value is 1.5 billion euros.
Among the main generators of economic growth is foreign economic policy. Our main goal is to change the structure of Bulgarian exports by moving away from the model of export commodities with low added value, which are now mainly export and they constitute over 40% of our exports. Direction is to achieve high levels of exports of high-tech products, Bulgaria is only 6 % for the EU average of 16 percent, said Deputy Minister Dimitrov.
