It is part of the closing event for the Bulgarian Presidency of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region - the 7th Annual Forum and the Meeting of the Ministers responsible for Tourism in the Danube Region taking place on 18 and 19 October in the National Palace of Culture.

The exhibition presents 27 Danube projects. They illustrate what has been achieved through the joint efforts and cooperation in the Danube region to protect the natural and cultural heritage, to achieve sustainability in the tourism sector, to improve environmental risk prevention, water management, wetland restoration, networking of protected areas etc. The exposition also includes 29 photos from the Bulgarian section of the Danube River and awarded in the photo contest organised by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works "One river – dozens of paradise spots" on the occasion of the International Danube Day– 29 June.
