1. Producer Price Indices on Domestic Market
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in October 2012 increased by 0.2% compared to the previous month. The domestic prices rose in the mining and quarrying industry by 2.3% and in the manufacturing by 0.2%, while the prices went down in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 0.1%.
In the manufacturing, the more significant prices increases compared to the previous month was seen in the manufacture of basic metals by 1.6%, in the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products by 1.5% and in the manufacture of leather and related products by 1.3%.
Producer Price Index on Domestic Market in October 2012 grew by 6.9% compared to the same month of 2011. The domestic prices increased in the mining and quarrying industry by 7.2%, in the manufacturing by 6.1% and in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 8.8%.
In the manufacturing compared to October 2011, the prices increase was registered in the manufacture of tobacco products by 8.0%, in the manufacture food products by 7.3%, in the manufacture of textiles by 6.7%, in the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products by 5.6% and in the manufacture of leather and related products by 5.4%. The prices reductions were seen in the manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products by 1.6% and in the repair and installation of machinery and equipment by 0.7%.
2. Total Producer Price Indices in Industry
Total Producer Price Index in Industry in October 2012 decreased by 0.2% compared to the previous month. The lower prices were registered in the manufacturing by 0.4% and in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 0.2%, while in the mining and quarrying industry the prices went up by 2.0%.
In the manufacturing, more significant prices decreases2 were seen in the manufacture of basic metals by 1.5%, in the manufacture of textiles and in the manufacture of leather and related products by 0.7%.
Total Producer Price Index in October 2012 grew by 6.8% comparing to the same month of 2011.
In the manufacturing, the prices rose by 6.5% as compared to October 2011. More significant prices increases were seen in the manufacture of textiles by 10.6%, in the manufacture food products by 6.9%, in the manufacture of tobacco products by 6.1%, while the producer prices went down in the manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products by 1.0% and in the repair and installation of machinery and equipment by 0.6%.
