The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has the pleasure to disseminate the information about an upcoming event of the project e-MEDIATION Promoting ICT tools to cross-border disputes resolution. The event will be held as part of the “Mediation Days in Bulgaria”, which initiated by the Center for settlements and mediation at Sofia Regional Court and Sofia City Court.
Further to the above we would like to extend a kind invitation to the invitatione-MEDIATION Policy Briefing dedicated to the following key objectives: fostering mediation approach as an alternative dispute resolution and promoting mediation culture throughout the Bulgarian society. The event will take place on 15.11.2017 at 10.00 am at the Conference Hall on the 1st floor of the Sofia Court House, located at 2 Vitosha blvd., Sofia.
The e-MEDIATION project unites three organisations from Bulgaria under the guidance of the Law and Internet Foundation. Joined together they aim at contributing to the broader application of Directive 2008/52/EC by providing a feasible and secure IT tool for online mediation in cross-border disputes.
Relevant topics pertaining to the development of mediation in Bulgaria are to be addressed by the presentation and further discussed by representatives of the judicial system, judges, lawyers, mediators, entrepreneurs, academics and the media.
