On 14 February 2012, the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov met with Mr. Denis Danset who until recently was the Honorary Consul of Bulgaria to Marseille, France. The meeting was attended by representatives of the French organization C.i.S. Assistance (http://www.cis-assistance.fr/), providing psychological assistance to victims of disasters and crises – Mr. Terik Busebsi, Director and Mrs. Veselina Puhteva, Psychologist.
“After the recent natural disasters that struck Bulgaria – earthquakes and floods, society needs to pay more attention to the problems of those affected by disasters”, the President of BCCI said. Mr. Simeonov and his guests discussed how to deal with psychosomatic problems, purely human emotions and relationships, as well as the economic consequences for society.
The Director of C.i.S. Assistance presented his ideas for training young specialists in the field of psychology to help in emergency situations, as well as possibilities for helping companies that are faced with crisis due to various reasons.
During the meeting BCCI agreed to help disseminate information about those opportunities and to host the trainings.
