H.E. Arturo Arciniega, Ambassador of Peru in Athens, with acreditation including Bulgaria, got acquainted with the activities of the BCCI



Deputy-President of the Chamber d-r Vasil Todorov еmphasized the importance of good cooperation with the embassy, ​​stating that with the support of diplomatic missions, the BCCI successfully organizes various business-oriented events, including presentations, business delegations, bilateral business forums, etc.

The system of regional chambers and industry organizations was also presented. The guest was acquainted with the BCCI's membership in international organizations open to chambers of commerce, such as the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, the Association of World Trade Centers, Eurochambers, the Business Council of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, and others. Through membership in such international organizations, the Chamber provides its members with a wide range of business services.

Ambassador Arciniega, briefly presented the economic advantages of Peru. The country exports non-ferrous metals - copper for about 300 million US reports on an annual basis. There is also potential interest in developing business projects in the agricultural sector of the country.

It was agreed that the BCCI, together with the team of the Embassy of Peru, will organize an online meeting in the near future, at which experts from Peru will present to Bulgarian entrepreneurs the opportunities and advantages for investments in the country. The agricultural sector and the super foods produced in this country - coffee, organic cocoa, asparagus, mango, etc. will be presented. The BCCI will additionally inform about the exact period for holding the event.
