BCCI and IFA discussed the status of the tax legislation Bulgaria

The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov and the Chairman of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) Bulgaria Branch – Valentin Savov discussed the state of the tax legislation in Bulgaria.

During the meeting options for improving the tax legislation were discussed in order to facilitate its practical application, limit the prerequisites for corruption, and avoid double taxation.

The need to introduce the best international practices in the training of Bulgarian experts in the sector was ascertained, as well as to prepare and present joint positions in the field of tax legislation.

IFA is the only non-governmental international organization dealing with fiscal issues. Its main objectives are to research and develop the international and comparative law regarding public finances, especially international and comparative fiscal law, financial and economic aspects of taxation.
