On the 14th of March in Hong Kong in “Ritz-Carlton” Hotel an investment roundtable was held, organized by the InvestBulgaria Agency, in cooperation with Financial Times and the financial support of OP “Development of the competitiveness of the Bulgarian economy” 2007-2013.
The event proved to be very interesting for the investors in Hong Kong. More than 50 companies were presented at the roundtable and participated in the dialogue about the development of successful business in Bulgaria.
Participation in the panel discussion took: Nelson Wong, founder and CEO of ACN Worldwide; Zoya Paunova, Marketing Company President, AstraZenica Bulgaria; Anton Dontchev, Member of the Board of Directors, Litex Motors; Stefan Stanev, Balkan Advisory Company; Valentin Georgiev, Executive Director of American Chamber of Commerce; Nikolay Brankov, CEO of Sienit.
According to Mrs Zoya Paunova, the people in Bulgaria are ready for the business challenges of 21 century. The ratio between quality and price in the country is highly favorable and the people are the major factor for success for Astra Zeneca Bulgaria.
According to Mr Valentin Georgiev, Executive Director of American Chamber of Commerce, Bulgaria is an exit point for successful business in Europe. The investment in Bulgaria is a business solution with a long-term prospect. The European market provides huge demand, which is a major incentive for the Chinese investments.
The presentation of the business experience of the company ACN Worldwide, founded in 2008, was very interesting for the participants. The compamy attracts Chinese investments in Bulgaria in the real estate industry. The managing director of ACN Worldwide pointed out that the low taxes are the major incentive for the development of business in the country.
