“Standard Profil – Bulgaria” will double the capacity and staff

Bulgarian company Standard Profil won a major project that includes the construction of the full range of rubber seals for the new model of Opel – Astra, company CEO Petar Angelov announced. As one of the leading companies in production of rubber seals in Europe, Standard Profil has won the trust of giant Daimler and will also equip some of its SMART models.

These two long-term contracts will double the capacity and staff of the Bulgarian firm.

"We are completing a new production hall of ​​700 square meters and next year we will build another new factory of an area of ​​5,000 square meters”, Angelov said.

The total investment to build the new facilities and equipment was approximately BGN 2 million. The company's staff, which is currently just over 1,000 will rocket to above 2,000.
