On 23 January 2012, H.E. Mrs. Pamela Deen, Ambassador of Sri Lanka, visited BCCI and met with the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov.
The President of BCCI discussed with the Ambassador of Sri Lanka the upcoming visit to Bulgaria of a business delegation from the Asian country, which will take place in mid May 2012. BCCI will provide assistance for the organization of the business forum and will help find appropriate Bulgarian partners for the companies from Sri Lanka.
The parties discussed the possibility for BCCI to begin close cooperation with the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce after signing a Memorandum of Understanding.
