Meeting with representatives of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco

Representatives of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce, San Francisco visited BCCI. The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov met with Konstantina Chilingirova, President of the joint organization and Vance Petrunoff, member of the Board of Directors.
The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco was established by the Bulgarian community in North Carolina in the fall of 2011.
Mr. Simeonov informed his guests about the activity of BCCI and the Bulgarian – American Trade and Economic Council. He proposed several areas for cooperation with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce in North California. It was agreed that the organization will provide certain services to Bulgarian companies that need assistance to enter the American market.
Ms. Chilingirova presented the mission of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco:

To further the interests and growth of enterprises owned by members of the Bulgarian community in California;
To promote networking, collaboration and cooperation among Bulgarian-owned enterprises in California and other business in this state;
To promote the Bulgarian culture in California through programs, events and activities of a civic, social, entertainment, educational and cultural nature.

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco organized the meeting of Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev with the Bulgarian community in North California held on 16 May 2012. Together with the Bulgarian Embassy and Consulate in Los Angeles it organized last year’s meeting of the ambassadors of the United States and Bulgaria in San Francisco.
