The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and industry Tsvetan Simeonov took part in the ‘Sail of Shanghai Business and Trade Partners Conference (BTPC), held on October 28th 2021.
The Sail of Shanghai Business and Trade Partners Conference with the theme: „‘One Team One Goal! “ is held every two years during the exhibition, which aims to strengthen exchanges between Shanghai business associations, enterprises and economic groups from various countries and regions.
Bulgaria and Romania will be the European countries that Shanghai Fair plans to restart the exhibition after the outbreak.
Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Mr. Corneliu Lozneanu, Executive Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Romania-China, addressed the Conference online.
Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov stressed that BCCI looks forward to the re-opening of the Shanghai Fair, supporting the Shanghai Fair Trade and Economic Exhibition and welcoming the Shanghai Business Association and entrepreneurs to Bulgaria for economic and trade exchanges.
In his opening speech the President of the Shanghai Federation of Economic Organizations (SFIE) Guan Weiyong informed about the creation of six professional committees, focusing on promoting foreign exchanges, integration of production and integration, scientific and technological achievements and other applications, to provide more services for enterprises, associations.
„Sail of Shanghai Business and Trade Partners Conference“ is a key project that the cooperation and exchange committee focus on the creation of foreign cooperation and exchange. The Federation will actively deepen cooperation between associations and chambers of commerce enterprises, help member enterprises to "go global", carry out cooperation in foreign investment projects, help associations and member enterprises to better participate in the country's "Belt and Road" construction, and more effectively go to the international market. Ms. Milanka, Director of Asia and Africa Department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia on the convening of the BTPC Conference and the establishment of the Shanghai Fair Belgrade Economic and Trade Office, sent a congratulatory video on behalf of the Sail of Shanghai SH-Mart's first overseas economic and trade office in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia.
The Best Cooperation Award of Shanghai Fair 2021 was presented. The President and the Director of the Department present awards to the Chinese and foreign business associations. The award-winning Chinese associations include the China Food and Livestock Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai Light Industry Association, Shanghai Food Association, Shanghai Wine Industry Association, Shanghai Chemical Industry Association, Shanghai LED Lighting Engineering Industry Association, Shanghai Medical Device Industry Association, & Free BioZone-1.
Huang Guowei Executive Vice President issued a letter of thanks for the Free BioZone-1. The 2020 ‘Sail of Shanghai Business and Trade Partners Conference’ (BTPC) organized four thematic dialogues, i.e.: trade in services, biomedicine, smart manufacturing and consumer goods.
During the four thematic dialogues, Shanghai Qingyun Robotics Co., Ltd., Shanghai Yingke Industrial Co., Ltd., Shanghai Chemical Research Institute, Shanghai Materials Research Institute Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Jinhai High-tech Co., Ltd. showed their best products in science and technology, environmental protection and health.
