The security of the tourists has been guaranteed, the situation is calm and the season is going normally. This was said by the Deputy Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Ivo Marinov during a meeting of hoteliers and tour operators with the Chief Commissioner of the Directorate-General of Criminal Police of the Ministry of Interior Angel Antonov.
During the meeting 20 recommendations prepared on an initiative of the branch by interior security employees were discussed. The measures are connected with personal safety, property and security of the tourist sites and transport services.
One of the main factors for the selection of a destination is the security and well-being of customers. We are not speaking only for the season, but for tourism as a whole and for all sites in the country, including SPA and wellness centers, also said Deputy Minister Marinov. He underlined that such meetings will be held on a regular basis, the measures will be balanced, so that they don’t interfere with the vacation of the holidaymakers.
