2 September 2025 saw the opening of Commercial UAV Expo 2025 - the largest drone exhibition in the United States - at Caesar's Forum, Nevada





At the prestigious Forum, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) was represented by its Vice-President, Dr Vasil Todorov, which is a sign of the growing interest in Bulgaria in the development of innovative technologies in aviation.

The exhibition was not limited only to the presentation of new models of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The organisers had planned a rich accompanying programme with presentations, discussions and live demonstrations covering key topics from industry — from the FAA regulations and the safety of flights to the applications of drones in infrastructure, agriculture, security and geospatial technologies.

More than 200 leading companies and organisations from all over the world took part  in the Forum, demonstrating their newest products and services. The biggest names this year included:

- AirData UAV – the largest platform for drone fleet management and flight data analysis;

- Ascent AeroSystems – a producer of NDAA compliant drones for defence and industry;

- Blue Marble – a supplier of software for photogrammetry and LiDAR processing;

- Censys Technologies – a leader in BVLOS missions with AI-based unmanned systems;

- DeTect Inc – a producer of radar systems for airspace surveillance and C-UAS solutions;

- GPC Cases – an American producer of professional transport cases for drones;

- SimActive – a creator of Correlator3D for high-speed image processing;

- Inspired Flight – a California producer of NDAA compliant drone platforms;

- RIIS LLC – a company for customised drone software and AI applications;

- WarrenUAS – a leading educational centre in the USA for training in drone technologies.

This year Commercial UAV Expo brought together over 3,500 professionals from more than 70 countries. The event reinforced its position as the largest and most influential one in the sector of commercial drones in North America. The Forum is expected to give impetus to new international partnerships and also, to serve as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas about the future of unmanned technologies.
