The President of the BCCI, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, had a meeting with the President PALAZZO ITALIA BUCHAREST Mr. Giovanni Baldantoni. The discussion focused on the interests of the Italian companies in the region and the intention of Mr. Baldantoni to open Palazzo Italia in Bulgaria – a Centre for assistance of Italian companies, starting business in Bulgaria.
The Centre will be set up, following the pattern of that one in Bucharest with office area for the companies, conference rooms, a hotel and a restaurant. Subject of the discussion with the President of the BCCI was also the participation of a Bulgarian partner in the undertaking.
Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov outlined the advantages of membership in the Chamber and confirmed his willingness to cooperate for further encouragement of the contacts between the Bulgarian and the Italian partners.
The option for funding of the undertaking through EU funds for start-ups and the further developent of the bi-lateral cooperation were also subjects of the discussion.
