The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with its partners from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Caritas Sofia, the #ForGood Foundation, “Humans in the Loop” Foundation, CATRO Bulgaria, Sofia Development Association and many others, offers cooperation to Bulgarian companies willing to hire women from third countries, including migrants and refugees. The women are of various age groups and are looking for full-time or flexible jobs. They can fill vacancies in restaurants and other catering establishment, retail shops, services sector, online services, manufacturing, etc., both in Sofia and in the country.
The people looking for jobs are from: Ukraine, Syria, Nigeria, Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, and other countries. They speak Bulgarian, Russian, English, French and other languages to varying degrees. Among them there are both graduates of higher education and ones with high school education.
BCCI will hold a job fair with the participation of employers and job seekers from other countries on 17 November 2022 as an activity under the European project RIDE (Reach Inclusion through Digital Empowerment for migrant women). The aim is to support contacts between employers and employees - female migrants and refugees.
