The upcoming Bulgarian – Lebanese Business Forum discussed at BCCI


The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov met with Mohamad Sakr, Chairman of the Bulgarian - Lebanese Business Council, Mazen Farah, Vice-President of the Council, and Georgi Nedyalkov, Honorary Member and former Commercial Counsellor of Bulgaria in Beirut.

The occasion for the meeting was the upcoming bilateral business forum which will take place on 12 November in Sofia. Tsvetan Simeonov informed his guests about the expected business delegation from Lebanon, which will include representatives of large enterprises, the public and private sector, as well as the Presidents of the chambers of commerce and industry of Beirut, Tripoli, Sidon, the management of the Investment Development Authority of Lebanon, the Association of Lebanese Industrialists, etc.

Representatives of companies with interests in the following sectors will be part of the delegation: food industry, live animals and meat, dairy products, canned foods, construction, architecture and design, textile and fashion industry, engineering, infrastructure projects, legal consultations, finance, petroleum sector, packing industry, tourism, transport and logistics, telecommunications, furniture and household products, cyber security, electrical engineering, fairs and exhibitions, etc.

The two organizations negotiated close cooperation in order to promote the bilateral business contacts and the successful holding of the upcoming business event.
