Organization of Bulgarian-Russian forums in Sofia in 2019 in the field of tourism and IT was negotiated

The Secretary General of the Bulgarian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ognyan Pachev visited BCCI and met with the President Tsvetan Simeonov. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the results of the last meeting of the Bulgarian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation held in Moscow in late October, in which representatives of the Bulgarian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry took an active part.

Together with the discussions at governmental level, a Bulgarian-Russian Business Forum organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation was held. The forum enjoyed increased interest from representatives of various sectors of industry.

During the meeting of the Bulgarian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission, it was agreed to organize two business events dedicated to tourism and information technologies in 2019 in Sofia. The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov declared the Chamber's willingness to contribute to their successful organization. The heads of the two organizations discussed the programmes and the period for holding the forums - in April and September 2019.
