BCCI and the Embassy of Bulgaria in Morocco with joint initiatives to promote bilateral trade

The newly appointed Bulgarian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco Plamen Tsolov visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and shared with President Tsvetan Simeonov the priorities of his mission. Morocco is a destination of interest to Bulgaria. Despite the changes that have taken place in the Arab countries, the Moroccan market has great potential and Bulgarian products can find a place in it, both because of the traditional ties in the past and because of the favorable price-quality ratio.

Ambassador Tsolov informed that despite the lack of a Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy, the mission will be strongly committed to supporting bilateral economic relations. The main goal is to balance trade with Morocco and achieve a larger volume of Bulgarian exports to this country.

Tsvetan Simeonov shared the experience of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in creating conditions and organizing events to promote trade and investment - meetings, forums, exhibitions.

Various initiatives to promote the bilateral relations were discussed, including the establishment of a Bulgarian – Moroccan Chamber of Commerce, online business meetings and others.
