NEWS FROM BCCI

The Ambassador of Vietnam visited BCCI

H.E. Doan Tuan Linh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Bulgaria, and a team of the Embassy visited BCCI and discussed with the Chamber’s President Tsvetan Simeonov practical steps towards the development of bilateral trade and economic relations.

Ambassador Linh informed about the latest developments of the forthcoming signing of an agreement for the exchange of skilled labour force between Vietnam and Bulgaria. The legal framework for this exchange is a good mechanism, which on the one hand ensures the provision of suitable employees for the Bulgarian employers, and on the other hand, guarantees the rights and good working conditions for the foreign workers in Bulgaria.

It was agreed that the Embassy and BCCI will cooperate and organize meetings for establishing direct contacts between companies in the field of tourism. The possibilities for import of high quality timber from Vietnam to be used in the furniture industry were also discussed.

To declare your interest for participation in the meetings and propose topics for discussion, please contact us by e-mail to: irelations@bcci.bg. BCCI will additionally inform its members about the exact dates of the events.
