The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Mauritius visited BCCI


Hristo Bushev, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Mauritius in Bulgaria, visited BCCI and discussed with the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov future joint initiatives and a presentation of Mauritius’ investment opportunities and business climate.

During the meeting, the current economic situation in the African country was discussed and the main sectors of the country were highlighted, including: financial services, tourism, pharmacy, medical equipment, jewelry, etc. The interest towards light industry products and agricultural equipment was also discussed.

Among the topics of the meeting was the upcoming visit of a delegation from Mauritius and the organization of an investment forum in Sofia in February 2020. BCCI will additionally inform about the programme of the visit and the profiles of the participating companies.

Tsvetan Simeonov proposed to organize an exhibition of local products during the visit of the Mauritius delegation.
