

The BCCI hosted the regular meeting of the Club of Joint and Foreign Chambers in Bulgaria. At the opening of the event the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov presented the results of the recently completed European Parliament of Enterprises 2014, where the BCCI participated with a delegation of 18 business representatives. In his opinion, both Bulgarian and European businesses have similar problems, such as bureaucracy, poor access to crediting and to international markets.
The team of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented its activities and its 11-year experience in organizing business missions, delegations, and participation in projects. The good partnership relations were mentioned with the Chambers of Commerce of Prahova, Bucharest and others.
Atanaska Kalcheva, Director of the French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, notified about the joint initiative of the Chamber and the BCCI to organize and promote a campaign for finding sub-contractors to the French companies already operating in Bulgaria, mainly in the industrial sector.
The meeting of the Club continued with introducing member-companies of the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and tasting of wine by the Winery “Wine Union” and of the natural food products by “Urban Village” LTD.
