Meeting with the Chairman of the General Libyan Union of Chambers


The current state and the tendencies in the economic development of Bulgaria and Libya were in the focus of a meeting between the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov and Mohamed Raed, Chairman of the General Libyan Union of Chambers. Anastas Terzobaliev, Executive Director of MKRTNI Ltd., also took part in the meeting.

Mohamed Raed informed about upcoming economic delegations from the European Union which will visit Libya.

In 2017, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the General Libyan Union of Chambers signed a Memorandum of Understanding according to which they agreed to follow the plan to activate the Libyan – Bulgarian and the Bulgarian – Libyan Chambers of Commerce in order to promote the bilateral economic cooperation.
