BCCI hosted a meeting with representatives of the International Youth Chamber

 

BCCI hosted a meeting in the framework of an event organized by the International Chamber of Junior Chambers. Nearly 100 representatives from 34 countries (from Europe and beyond the old continent) were in Sofia last week and visited BCCI.

The young entrepreneurs acquainted themselves with the Chamber’s activities and its cooperation with similar organizations at European and international level. They have fulfilled a task set by BCCI - to offer possible solutions to the challenges that the Bulgarian companies have identified as leading to the Bulgarian economy in 2019 (according to the annual European Economic Survey). They worked on the following topics:

► the lack of skilled labor
► the energy and raw materials prices
► the demand for domestic and foreign markets
► the increase in the labor costs
► the financing conditions.

The young entrepreneurs presented their proposals which featured innovations both in terms of ideas and presentation manner, and were awarded with the applause of their colleagues together with the praises received by the BCCI’s management body.

Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov encouraged the good suggestions and shared BCCI's experience with each one of the challenges.

The participants in the European Youth Forum European meeting also stood behind some important issues for Europe:

• For a necessity to vote in the European Parliament elections in May 2019
• For a shared future in Europe
• For a solidarity, diversity and prosperity
• For strengthening the European economy on a global scale, etc.
