BCCI and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bursa signed Agreement for Cooperation

A delegation from the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited the BCCI and discussed with the President of the Chamber of Commerce -Tsvetan Simeonov the opportunities for development of the trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Turkey.

A Cooperation agreement between the two Chambers was signed during the meeting, envisaging exchange of statistical and analytical information on the main trends in economic development, legislation and business regulation on the territory of the two countries, including information about trade fairs and exhibitions, etc. It was discussed cooperation and sharing of experience within the Arbitration court.

The delegation from Bursa was led by Mrs. Sibel ÖLÇÜLÜOĞLU, president of the Tourism Council of CCI Bursa and honorary consul of Germany in Bursa. She presented brief information about the 4th largest city in Turkey and the main sectors of the economy, including textiles, agriculture and tourism.

The members of the delegation were also presented – representatives of famous hotel chains, travel agencies, CCI and the Ministry of Trade of Turkey. 

The President of the BCCI designated the Bursa as the "locomotive" of the Turkish industry and declared the BCCI's readiness to assist the business from Turkey and Bulgaria.
