The Ambassador of Guatemala visited BCCI
H.E. Mr. Mario Adolfo Bucaro, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Guatemala visited BCCI and met with the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov. The Honorary Consul of Guatemala in Bulgaria Mr. Veselin Simov and the Cultural and Educational Counselor at the Honorary Consulate of Guatemala in Sofia Ms. Silvia Veselinova also took part in the meeting. Ambassador Bucaro is based in Israel and is accredited to Bulgaria and Cyprus.
During the meeting, the current state of the bilateral commercial and economic relations was discussed. Tsvetan Simeonov introduced the guests to the work of the Chamber and the main services it provides in support of businesses, including the Arbitration Court at BCCI and GS1 Bulgaria.
H.E. Mr. Mario Adolfo Bucaro outlined the priorities of his term of office for strengthening the economic cooperation. Guatemala can offer agricultural products on the Bulgarian market – citrus fruits, coffee, sugar cane, cardamom, and high-quality seafood. For its part, Bulgaria can supply equipment and machinery for the food industry, hydrogenerators, etc.
