The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium in Sofia visited BCCI

The Ambassador of Belgium H.E. Frederic Meurice met with the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov.

During the meeting, Ambassador Meurice shared his ideas for developing economic cooperation between the two countries during his term of office in Sofia.

The President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov, expressing his satisfaction with the fruitful cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Sofia, presented the system of regional chambers of commerce and industry, the functioning of the Chamber’s Unified Trade Register and the Arbitration Court at BCCI, as well as the activities of GS1 Bulgaria.

The various measures for improving the business environment in the EU member-states during the COVID-19 pandemic and the ways of interaction between the Embassy of Belgium in Sofia and the BCCI in support of entrepreneurs from both countries were also discussed.
