BCCI signs a Memorandum of Understanding with EU SME Centre
On 25 January 2021, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the EU SME Centre and the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) to strengthen future cooperation between the two sides on China-related business activities in China, Europe and COSME participating countries. The aim is to cooperate on the design and implementation of joint activities to increase synergies, contributing to the common goal of supporting target SMEs interested in doing business in China. The planning of activities for the spring have already started, and the BCCI is looking forward to the future cooperation with EU SME Center and to jointly support Bulgarian SMEs which are looking for investment or business opportunities with China.

EU SME Centre:
The EU SME Centre is an initiative of the European Union that provides a comprehensive range of practical support services to European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by preparing them for business in China. The five partners in implementing the initiative are: The Chinese -UK Business Council, the Chinese-Italian Chamber of Commerce in China, the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China, the European Parliament and the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China. The centre's team provides advice and support in four main areas – business development, legal issues, standards and compliance, as well as human resources.
