Meeting with the Ukrainian Ambassador H.E. Mykola Baltazhy


The economic cooperation between Bulgaria and Ukraine was discussed during a meeting held at BCCI by the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Bulgaria H.E. Mykola Baltazhy. In the course of discussion the impact of the political situation in recent months on the development of the economy in the region was noted. The parties agreed that additional measures are needed to boost bilateral trade.

Ambassador Balthazhy described at length the new program adopted by the Ukranian government and the envisaged reforms in all sectors in relation to the country’s Association Agreement with the European Union.

In order to provide Bulgarian businesses with specific information, BCCI and the Embassy of Ukraine are going to organize in the beginning of 2015 a presentation of the economic program of the Ukrainian government and the specific reforms that will affect Ukrainian economy.
