For ninth consecutive year InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA) organizes the annual awards "Investor of the Year". The competition aims to identify the most significant investment projects implemented in 2014 in Bulgaria. The award ceremony will take place in early February 2015. With "Investor of the Year" IBA wants to encourage new "green" implemented projects and well developing businesses.
Projects will be judged by a jury on the following criteria:
- volume of investment
- number of new jobs
- investment in a region with low economic growth and high unemployment
- investment in staff training
- investment in measures to protect the environment
The awarded will receive a Golden Bull statue, made by the sculpture Seyfetin Shekerov in the following categories:
- Investor of the year 2014
- Green investment of the year
- Investment in expanding
- Investment in merge/acquisition
- Investment in human capital.
Honorary awards - plaques of InvestBulgaria Agency, will be awarded in the following categories:
- Investment in innovation
- Investment in conquering a market
- Successful startup
- Area with the most investments.
