Ashok Singh, member of the Legislative Council of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He was accompanied by the President of the Managing Committee of the Forum for the Development of Business and Culture between India and Bulgaria – Mr. Neeraj Kumar.
The purpose of the visit of the Indian deputy in our country was to get introduced to the Bulgarian market, to research into the trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and other countries, as well as to establish business contacts.
The opportunities for establishing bilateral cooperation in sectors of mutual interest, such as trade and economy, agriculture, transport, information technologies and communication, science and technologies, were subject to the discussion. BCCI’s excellent collaboration with its Indian partners – the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in New Delhi, was also noted.
Ashok Singh was provided with information materials regarding the activities of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, some economic data about the country and a Calendar of the Fairs and Exhibitions in Bulgaria and Southeast Europe.
