Delegation from the German Federal State of Saxony-Anhalt visited BCCI

At BCCI bilateral meetings were held between German and Bulgarian companies looking for new business partners. The event was organized by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Magdeburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Enterprise Europe Network – the largest business support network.

In his opening speech, the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov greeted the participants in the delegation on their desire to find new opportunities in the Bulgarian market. The participants were also welcomed by the Minister for Regional Development and Transport of the Federal State of Saxony-Anhalt Thomas Webel and the Deputy Executive Director of Magdeburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry Siegfried Zander.

More than 40 Bulgarian businesses had the opportunity to meet representatives of companies and clusters from the Saxony-Anhalt region. More than 60 bilateral b2b were held successfully. The German companies which took part in the delegation represented the following sectors of industry: transport and logistics, water and waste management, healthcare, consultations and enterprise management systems, food industry, industrial packing.

As part of their official visit to Bulgaria, the German delegation attended the opening of the Technical Fair in Plovdiv and examined the expositions.

They also visited the production facility of Florina Bulgaria and got closely acquainted with a well-functioning and constantly developing business on the territory of our country.
