One of the largest British investors in Bulgaria “Petroceltic” presented its investment plans at BCCI


At BCCI a meeting was held between the Chamber’s President Tsvetan Simeonov and the senior management of the largest gas manufacturer in Bulgaria “Petroceltic”: Angelo Moskov - Chairman, Donald Wolcott - CEO, Joe Mach - Chief Technical Director, Milan Stojanovic - Regional Manager and Dobromir Hristov - Country Manager, as well as Rt. Hon. Stephen Byers, Senior Advisor at “Petroceltic”, former UK Secretary of State for Trade and Industry and member of Her Majesty’s Privy Council.

During the meeting topics related to the business climate in Bulgaria and the development of energy and economy were discussed. The British delegation also expressed interest in BCCI’s activity. President Simeonov presented the Chamber’s structure and services, highlighting the adoption of long-standing good practices from the London, Birmingham and Mid-Yorkshire Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Special attention was paid on the Chamber’s Unified Trade Register and the digitized Arbitration Court which hears many international cases.

BCCI’s good cooperation with the state institutions and the other organizations of employers, and the organization of Bulgarian business delegations were also discussed.

As one of the largest British investors in Bulgaria “Petroceltic” presented its plans for future investment and stressed the state’s role in providing a suitable investment climate.
