Another step towards active cooperation between Bulgarian and foreign businesses
A meeting of the Bulgarian business with representatives of the Embassies and the Commercial and Economic Sections accredited to Bulgaria was held at BCCI on 31 October. The event was organized by the Council of Sectorial Organizations at BCCI. Among the foreign participants were representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Spain, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.
In his opening speech, the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov emphasized the assistance provided by BCCI to foreign companies entering the Bulgarian market, and to local companies with ambitions for international presence and growth. He thanked the Council of Sectorial Organizations at BCCI for the initiative and pointed out that this is just the first of a series of similar events.
The event consisted of two parts – presentations of the different countries and the opportunities for economic cooperation with Bulgaria, followed by b2b meetings for direct contact between the Bulgarian companies and the foreign commercial attaches.
The participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with specific projects and future investment plans, and to establish new relations and contacts.
The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will continue to pave the way for a coherent and efficient policy in the commercial exchange and economic cooperation.
