Representatives of Yakutia visited BCCI

 



 

The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov met with representatives of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), part of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the visit was to discuss possibilities for cooperation with Bulgarian companies. The meeting was attended by Aleksandr Pavlov, a jewellery entrepreneur and member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Yakutsk, Vyacheslav Dumenko, General Director of a real estate company, Igor Benevalenskiy, Head of the Investment Fund Atlant in Novosibirsk, and Sardana Teryoshkina, representative of a tourism company.

During their visit to BCCI, the guests shared their idea of establishing a commercial center of Yakutia in Bulgaria to represent companies from this distant area of the Russian Federation. The region is abundant in natural stones, including diamonds, as well as timber and furs. Fishing is also well developed. Opportunities for cooperation in the field of tourism were presented.

During the meeting it was agreed a Bulgarian business delegation to visit Yakutsk in the spring of 2019 to make direct contacts with the local business. Promising for mutual trade and investment are the following sectors: food industry, machinery and equipment for the food industry, agriculture, light industry, etc.
