For 7th consecutive year BCCI supports the initiative “Oslo Business for Peace “Award which aims to accelerate the development of ethical business practices by increasing awareness of the strengths of the ethical business case. The goal is to inspire and encourage business people to foster peace and stability to the benefit of humanity. ICC is an official supporting partner in the Oslo Business for Peace award programme.
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- The candidate for the Award must be an example to society and to its peers.
- Business people nominated are outspoken advocates of ethical and responsible business principles, and of social responsibility in corporate governance.
- The business people nominated for the Awards have developed and cultivated successful international or national businesses in a manner that is recognized and appreciated by the communities within which their businesses are being exercised.
BCCI expresses its readiness to support its members, willing to participate in “Oslo Business for Peace “Award. We believe that despite the difficulties encountered by companies, a large number of them reached their successes through dignified observance of business principles.
Once registration opens on 1 September 2015, the application form will be available on this page: http://www.iccwbo.org/chamber-services/partnership-and-initiatives/business-for-peace/. The deadline to submit nominations is 15 November 2015.
The Award Ceremony will take place in Oslo, Norway, on 10 May 2016.
