Delegation from one of the largest business organisations in Bursa – BALKANTÜRKSİAD visited BCCI


A delegation from BALKANTÜRKSİAD – one of the largest business organisations in Bursa, Turkey visited BCCI and discussed with the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov opportunities for development of the commercial and economic relations between Bulgaria and Turkey.

Mr. Berat Tunakan, President of BALKANTÜRKSİAD presented the activity of the organization and said that a great part of its members originate from the Balkan countries. He presented economic information about Bursa – the fourth-biggest and second largest by exports city in Turkey. During the meeting it was announced that Turkish trade centers will be opened in some of the Balkan countries.

The members of the delegation were also presented, among whom representatives of the sectors: oil and fuels, lawyer services, textiles, construction and architecture, restaurants.

Tsvetan Simeonov outlined the current economic situation in Europe and Bulgaria and highlighted the important events in 2018 which will be hosted by our country. Simeonov expressed the readiness of the Chamber to welcome a larger business delegation from Bursa and to organize a joint event with BALKANTÜRKSİAD next year.
