The newly-appointed General Consul of Bulgaria in Chicago visited BCCI
The newly-appointed General Consul of Bulgaria in Chicago, USA – Ivan Anchev visited BCCI and met with the Chamber’s President Tsvetan Simeonov. The aim of the meeting was for the Consul to get acquainted to the activity of the Chamber and to discuss opportunities for strengthening the bilateral cooperation between Bulgaria and the USA.
The President of BCCI expressed readiness on behalf of the Chamber to help the newly-appointed General Consul in Chicago for the promotion of business contacts, especially given that there are more than 150 000 Bulgarians living in Chicago.
Tsvetan Simeonov introduced the General Consul to the structure of the Chamber and the regional coverage of the country through 28 regional chambers of commerce. Emphasis was placed on the data bases of BCCI and on the advantages of the digitized Arbitration Court at BCCI. Mr. Simeonov talked about BCCI’s membership in international organizations and its cooperation with partners from the USA.
The President of BCCI undertook to provide assistance to the newly-appointed General Consul in Chicago to support businesses from Bulgaria and the USA.
