Traditional meeting of the Club of Joint and Foreign Chambers



BCCI hosted the regular meeting of the Club of Joint and Foreign Chambers. Traditionally, the event was opened by the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov, who made an overview of the economic situation in the country, focusing on the current important issues such as the state budget, the sick leaves, the import of foreign labour, etc. The European Union’s free trade agreements with third countries, the internationalisation of SMEs, and the opening of new markets were also among the discussed topics.

During the meeting the newly-established Bulgarian – Australian Business Council (BABC) and Bulgaria – Montenegro Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI) were presented.

Yoana Kehlibarova, CEO of BABC, presented in detail the activities of the organization whose gaol is to promote the bilateral business relations between Bulgaria and Australia.

Nadezhda Vaneva, President of the Bulgaria – Montenegro Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Yulian Eftimov, Member of the Board of Directors, shared their experience and impressions of the “Bulgarian Days in Montenegro”, held in the period 11 – 13 November.

Mila Nenova, Director of Confindustria Bulgaria, acquainted the participants with the upcoming CONNEXT business event, which aims to establish partnerships between companies from Southeast Europe and Italy. The event will take place in the end of February 2020 in Milan.
