Expansion of the bilateral economic cooperation between Bulgaria and Spain

Maya Stanilova, Honorary President of the Spanish - Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce in Madrid, and Dimitar Pampulov, President of the Bulgarian - Spanish Business Council, visited BCCI and discussed upcoming joint initiatives with BCCI’s President Tsvetan Simeonov.

Maya Stanilova outlined the economic situation in Spain and, together with Mr. Pampulov, presented the results of the economic forum recently held in Madrid.

The President of the Spanish - Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce also informed about the interest of the newly elected President of the Spanish - Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce in Madrid - Jesús Martín, President of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Henares and Deputy President of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs in Madrid, to organize events in cooperation with the joint business council and the Chamber. Tsvetan Simeonov took the opportunity to invite Mr. Jesús Martín to visit Bulgaria at a convenient time to discuss the possibilities for cooperation and development of the untapped potential in the trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Spain.

During the meeting, the possibilities for expanding the bilateral cooperation between Bulgaria and Spain were discussed, and the good cooperation with the Head of the Bulgarian Commercial and Economic Section in Madrid - Maria Yancheva was noted.

BCCI will inform about upcoming business initiatives and exhibitions in Spain, as well as the programme of the joint councils for the development of the bilateral relations.
