In May inemployment decreasing by 0.09 percentage points from April (5.27%) and remaining on a similar level compared to May 2025, the Employment Agency said on Wednesday.
At the end of last month, there were 146,919 registered jobless people in the country, compared to 149,517 in April, the government agency said in a monthly unemployment report.
Labour offices helped 12,813 jobless people start work in May, as compared to 15,751 a month earlier.
There were 7,320 job vacancies on the primary labour market last month, down from 9,965 registered in April. The highest percentage of vacancies was reported in the manufacturing industry, followed by car trade and repair, public administration and the hospitality industry.
